Online Casinos Gets Support from Land Operators

After hearing about the American Gaming Association's call for a congressional committee to study online gambling, the United States' online casinos industry gains another very important supporter - the land based gambling community. Some of the biggest brands in land-based casinos are pressuring politicians to consider regulating the online gambling industry as oppose to banning it. The online casino industry is a $12 billion rolling industry and a complete ban against it will not benefit the American economy.

Although the online casinos industry steals many of the land-based casinos' customers, we see that the land gambling community is against anti online casinos legislation. Harnessing the potential of the online gambling industry will benefit the entire gambling community, and banning it will do exactly the opposite. This isn't the first time the notion of regulation has rising, but now very important people are promoting the issue.

More than $900,000 have been contributed by the land gambling community to congressional candidates and now the community wants to collect its fees. Online casinos operators are very happy with this turn of events and hope that this move by land operators will be successful. With more voices calling for online gambling regulation, the chances for it to happen are high.
