Titan Poker, a leading online casinos poker site, has collaborated with Woman Poker Player magazine to create a number of $1,000 poker freeroll tournaments. The lifestyle publication targeting the growing female poker playing demographic has chosen the PlayTech-powered poker room for this endeavor. Online casinos poker playing females will be able to enter the first of these tournaments, which will take place on November 25th, 2005. Players must sign up and participate in the discussions that will be held on the Woman Poker Player forums.

The magazine reports that women make up 25% of players found in online casinos poker rooms, resulting in growth in the number of females in live poker games. The Borgata recently held a woman's tournament, which attracted over 500 participants and the WSOP 2005 ladies event had over 600 players. Maryanne Morrison, publisher of the popular woman's magazine, stated, 'These freeroll tournaments will be a way to say thank you, along with offering an opportunity for some of our brick and mortar players to try their skills online.' With the magazine's premiere in April of this year, circulation has doubled since its launch. Additionally, poker legend Barbara Enright is the magazine's editor-in-chief.
